The creator of the LMT Forex Formula, Dean Saunders, has been at this game (trading the forex markets) for several years now. (The "LMT" in the title of his formula stands for "Low Maintenance Trading.") He's constantly looking for a better and easier way to structure a winning forex trade. He believes in simplicity and ease of use when it comes to trading the forex markets. And he doesn't like being tied to his computer all day in order to find winning trade indicators. He wants those indicators revealed to him as early as possible so that he can go on with living his life and not being tied up all day to the fluxuations of the market place.
Dean has designed his forex strategy to work with ten different currency pairs. That means you have some latitude in your trading choices. You're not limited by just two or three trading choices per month. Although there is a drawback to the way the trading indicators are set up. The most profitable trading choices are found to be between five to ten trades a month. If you want to trade more, you can. You'll just have to adjust the trading indicators. Currently, the charts produced are based on a Daily or a Four Hour chart. Most people opt for the Daily chart reading as this is where the real money is made. It comes down to: Would you rather have fifteen scalping trades with a net profit of 50 pips for the week or one trade with a net profit of 150 pips? Clearly, 150 pips is better than 50 pips.
Another drawback to Dean's system of forex trading (if it can be said to be one) is that you have to be available just after the daily bar closes each day. Most brokers close the daily bar at midnight GMT. Which is late afternoon or early evening for those in the U.S and Canada (5PM Pacific to 8PM Eastern). Now, to be perfectly honest, there is some fudge time that you can get away with here, but only an hour or so. The trade indicators are best utilized at the close of the daily bar. The good thing about this is that you only need ten to fifteen minutes once a day to check over your trades, to close out positions, set stops, or take profits.
Dean has designed his LMT Forex Formula to include both written and visual teaching tools. His forex trading strategy comes with a 47 page PDF manual and four video tutorials which go into detail about "setting up a demo account," "installing indicators," an "introduction to chart indicators," and an "explanation of chart setups." Also, there are four trading indicators that you will need to download for the software to work. You will need to have access to the Meta Trader 4 software platform for the software to work. If you are new to forex trading, the Meta Trader 4 software can be downloaded free. Another plus is that Dean also offers customer support if you have any questions.
The LMT Forex Formula looks for large winning trades. It takes out the choppiness and whipsaw movements of the market while setting you up in position to make large winning trades. One trader we know has been involved in five trades over a three week period and his account is up 413 pips. Of those trades, three were wins, one a loss, and one a break even trade. Another trader we're aware of was involved in 13 trades with only 2 losing trades. If you've been following the forex markets these days, then you are aware of the volatile nature of that market. This system, once you become comfortable using it, helps you achieve the kind of winning trades that you want!
Dean Saunder's LMT Forex Formula was created for people who like to have a hand in their forex trading (it's not a trading robot) but without all the bother and fuss of having to be glued to a computer monitor all day long. You have to manually make the trades which keeps you informed about your trades.
